Singleton came to Emporia State from Wayne State University in Michigan where he appeared in 29 games while making six starts. During his time at Wayne State he recorded 787 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns. Last season Singleton averaged 4.61 yards per carry and 8.47 yards per reception. D’marco was an All-State honorable mention and first team All-League performer in football as a senior. He totaled 1,100 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior. He was a three sport athlete at Marysville HS competing in football, basketball and track. He was an All-State basketball selection in 2021 while also being named as league MVP. He set the school record with 43 points in a game. Singleton placed seventh at the 2021 MHSAA State Meet in the discus with a throw of 145-10.
