Back from injury after he burst on the scene as a sophomore and has been named to theĀ  USA College Football preseason All-America watch lists.

AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Was averaging
320.0 yards per game with a 60.6% completion rate and ten touchdowns before he was injured in the fourth quarter of the Hornets 42-35 double overtime win at Northeastern State. He finished the game, tossing a game tying touchdown in the first OT and scoring the game winner on a rush in the second extra period. He finished 20 of 36 for 292 yards and four touchdowns at Northeastern State. He was 40 of 62 for 489 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions at Central Missouri. The 40 completions broke Pete Jelovic's school record of 39 set against Truman in 1995 and the 489 yards are second in Emporia State history to his own 522 yards against Central Oklahoma in 2013.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Named second-team All-MIAA at quarterback. He lit up the record book at Emporia State before suffering an injury against Washburn that forced him to miss the NCAA Playoffs. He set the single season touchdown passes record with 33, is just the second Hornet to go over 3,000 yards of total offense with 3,381 yards, and is third in passing with 2,985 yards in just ten games on the season. He is sixth in the nation in passing efficiency, touchdown passes, and points responsible for,Ā  is seventh in completion percentage, tenth in total points responsible for, 11th in total offense, 13th in passing yards per game, 22nd in total passing yards, 25th in completions per game and 37th in yards per completion. He leads the MIAA in total offense, points responsible for, and passing touchdowns, and is second in passing yards, passing efficiency, completion percentage and completions per game. He was 25 of 35 for 362 yards and two touchdowns in three quarters against Washburn. He led his first fourth quarter comeback at Missouri Western going four of six for 27 yards and adding two carries for 14 yards on the Hornets go ahead touchdown drive. He was named MIAA, D2Football.com and BSN National Offensive Player of the Week after setting MIAA records for passing yards, total offense and touchdown passes at Central Oklahoma.Ā  He was 38 of 47 for 522 yards with seven touchdowns against the Bronchos and added 49 yards rushing for a total of 571 yards.Ā  He was the first quarterback in Emporia State history to throw for over 300 yards in his first start as he went 21 of 29 for 301 yards and three touchdowns against Ft. Hays State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Wilson saw action in nine games as a true freshman in 2012. He was three for four for 70 yards and a touchdown over his last three games. He completed his first touchdown pass of his career with a 44 yarder at Washburn. He completed his only pass attempt against Missouri Western and added 25 yards on two carries.

HIGH SCHOOL

An Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Star Class 6A quarterback...holds 13 Ponca City HS records...passed for 6,167 yards and 61 touchdowns in his career...went for 2,747 yards and 28 passing touchdowns as a senior while gaining 612 yards with five touchdowns on the ground...was coached by Robert Fry.
