Biography

At the close of the 2017 regular season, Shaw has a .389 batting average, a .444 slugging percentage and a .522 on base percentage in 18 at-bats. He has seven hits that includes one double. Shaw has scored five runs and brought in three RBI. 

Last season Shaw was given a medical redshirt.

In 2015, Shaw transferred to Emporia State from Longview Community College and was redshirted.

As a sophomore in 2014 at Longview Community College, Shaw started at shortstop in 59 games with a .292 batting average.

During his freshman year at Longview Community College in 2013, Shaw played in 39 games at shortstop compiling a batting average of .325 and a .953 fielding percentage.

Shaw is a transfer from Longview Community College who attended Ottawa high school.

Shaw is majoring in Business Administration and is the son of Kerry and Cheri Shaw.
