At the close of the 2017 regular season, Hanna is batting .299 with a .452 slugging percentage and a .397 on base percentage. He has 47 hits that include 11 doubles, a team high five triples and one home run. Hanna has 41 runs scored and has brought in 26 RBI. He has been walked 18 times and has seven stolen bases. Hanna has a .600 batting average with a runner on third and less than two outs.

At the end of the 2017 regular season Hanna claims several Emporia State career record spots. He is third with 706 at-bats and 218 hits, fourth with 169 runs scored and 12 triples and fifth with 207 games played and 42 doubles.

Last season as a junior, Hanna batted .335 with an on base percentage of .421 and finished the season with 72 hits that included 13 doubles, six triples, five home runs, 36 RBI and 11 stolen bases. He was named team captain and Third Team All-MIAA in the outfield for the Hornets.

As a sophomore in 2015, Hanna battled .284 with an on base percentage of .356 and finished the season with 48 hits including 11 doubles, seven home runs and 36 RBI. He was named Honorable Mention All-MIAA in the outfield for the Hornets.

As a freshman in 2014 for Emporia State, Hanna battled .311 with an on base percentage of .399 and finished the season with 55 hits that included eight doubles, three home runs, 31 RBI and 16 stolen bases.

Hanna redshirted for Emporia State in 2013.

Hanna attended Mill Valley high school and is a native of Shawnee, Kan.

Hanna is majoring in Business Administration and Business Marketing. He is the son of Kirk and Terri Hanna.
