Biography

At the close of the 2017 regular season, Perkins has a .341 batting average, a .390 slugging percentage and a .438 on base percentage. He has appeared in 20 games as a pinch hitter with 17 official at-bats. Perkins has 14 hits that include two doubles. He has scored seven runs and has nine RBI. He has been walked seven times.

As a redshirt freshman last season, Perkins hit .363 with a .441 on base percentage. He was named to the All-Region Tournament Team after hitting .357 with three runs scored, five RBI and a home run during the regional tournament.
