As a junior last season, Sanagorski had a .277 batting average, a .607 slugging percentage and a .403 on base percentage. He had 31 hits that include eight doubles, a triple, and nine home runs. Sanagorski scored 29 runs and brought in 41 RBI. He had a .417 batting average with runners in scoring position and batted .688 with a runner on third and less than two outs.
 
As a sophomore with Wichita State, Sanagorski hit .111 in 18 at bats with four runs, two hits, two RBI and five walks. He was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for both Fall 2015 and Spring 2016.
 
As a freshman at Wichita State University in 2015, Sanagorski played in 31 games with nine starts, eight as the designated hitter and one at catcher. He had a .154 batting average with six runs, eight hits, two doubles, two home runs and five RBI. Sanagorski had a season best three-game hitting streak from April 14-24, scored a season high two runs against New Mexico, a season high two RBI against Oklahoma. He was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for both Fall 2014 and Spring 2015.
 
Sanagorski attended Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita, Kan.
 
Sanagorski is majoring in Business Administration and is the son of Paul Sanagorski and Debbie Viscosi.
