2020: Pitched in five games with four starts, posting a 1-3 record and 5.59 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 19.1 innings ... Earned the victory after allowing a run on five hits with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings against SIU Edwardsville (March 11) ... Also fanned four batters at both Central Arkansas (Feb. 16) and Middle Tennessee (Feb. 23) ... Pitched 2.2 shutout innings in his only relief appearance, March 7 against Maine at Hammons Field.
 
2019: Carson made 10 mound appearances for the Bears as a true freshman, recording six scoreless performances ... Posted two scoreless outings during MVC play, totaling three strikeouts in 2.1 combined innings ... After making his MSU debut in the Bears’ season opener vs. Nevada (Feb. 15), tossed a hitless inning at San Diego (Feb. 23) ... Struck out a pair of Arkansas State (March 8) hitters over a season-long 3 1/3 innings ... Registered five scoreless innings over his final six appearances of the season, April 9-May 18; worked 2/3 of an inning at Kansas (April  9), then tossed a scoreless frame vs. Missouri (April 16) ... Worked three consecutive scoreless outings to conclude his season, beginning with 1 1/3 perfect innings vs. Bradley (April  28); also logged a scoreless 1/3 of an inning vs. Wichita State (May 7) and an inning against Valparaiso (May 18) to help secure a series sweep of the Crusaders, matching a season high with two strikeouts ...
