2020: In his shortened sophomore season with Barton CC, he played 21 games and finished with a batting average of .346, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 HR. The cougars were 19-3 and ranked 18^th in the country before the shutdown. Geekie also graduated from BCC after the spring semester with his Associate’s Degree and a GPA of 3.84 before transferring to ESU.

2019: In Geekie’s freshman season with the Cougars, he led the team with a .339 batting average along with 74 hits, 16 doubles, 3 triples, and 2 HR in 59 games. They finished the season with an overall record of 37-22 and he appeared on the 1^st team KJCCC All-West team and All-Region VI second team.

Born and raised in Strathclair, Manitoba Geekie played hockey throughout the winters and baseball during the summer growing up. In the spring of 2017, he decided to fully pursue baseball and attend the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Academy in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada.
