2016 – Burton will play in her senior season at Emporia State, looking to be one of the top blockers in the MIAA.

2015 – Her first year as a Hornet, Burton had 156 kills on a .289 hitting percentage. She finished fourth in the MIAA standings with 1.00 blocks per set, totaling 93 blocks, 14 solo and 79 assisted. Burton had a season high 11 blocks at home on November 7 against Lindenwood. On back-to-back home game nights on October 23 and 24 against Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State, Burton had 14 kills during each match. Burton was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2014 – Burton was a middle blocker transfer from Coffeyville Community College, where she was an honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference performer, and ranked second in the league at 1.29 blocks per set.

Personal – Burton is the daughter of Lori White majoring in Biology.
