Micah Cannon is in his second year as a graduate assistant for Emporia State Baseball. He coaches the catchers and outfielders along with assisting the hitters.

Micah, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, played college baseball at Bryan College from 2018 to 2020. During his time with the Lions, the team achieved notable success, winning over 75 games between the 2018 and 2019 seasons and making a regional appearance in 2019.

After college, Micah worked for a non-profit organization, which allowed him to travel extensively, spending time in the Dominican Republic and across the United States with college and professional teams multiple times a year.
