Logan Hoch

Logan Hoch enters into his first season with the Hornets as their pitching coach. After finishing up his degree in Sport Management at Wichita State Unversity, Hoch was drafted by the Detroit Tigers and played 2 season in the minor leagues.

While playing in the Tigers minor league system he had a career record of 1-2 wtih five saves and a  5.41 ERA in 37 appearances. 

He played outfield and pitched at Hutchinson County Community College during the 2006-07 season’s. He hit for a .318 average with 14 doubles and 23 stolen bases, and went 7-3 with a 2.59 ERA on the mound for the Blue Dragons. Was named all-league second team his sophomore season as an outfielder. 

He then transfered to Wichita State as a pitcher and pitched in 2008 and 2010 having to sit out the 2009 season because of shoulder surgery. In 2010 he went 2-1 in 33.0 innings with a 2.18 ERA.

Attended Wichita Southeast HS where he lettered in baseball all four years and was a first-team All-City selection as a pitcher his senior season.
