Jacob White is currently in his first season coaching position players for the Hornets baseball program.
White began his coaching career with Coffeyville CC in 2013 helping the Red Ravens to a Regional Final appearance against Neosho CC. Following a one year stop in Coffeyville, White accepted a Graduate Assistant position with the Northeastern State University RiverHawks baseball program in 2014 and 2015. He worked with position players and received his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from NSU in the spring of 2015.
He attended Louisburg HS in Louisburg, Kan. where he was a second team Frontier League catcher for the Wildcats. He began his college baseball career at Highland CC where he played shortstop for the Scotties while receiving his Associates Degree. White signed with Emporia State in the fall of 2008 and was a middle infielder for the Hornets from 2009-2011. He helped the Hornets reach the National Championship game in Cary, North Carolina in 2009 where he received World Series All-Tournament Team honors.
