David Allbritton is in his Thrid season as an assistant coach for the Hornets. He will work with the Hornet hitters after spending last summer as the Head Coach of the Derby Twins of the Jayhawk League.

David played at Emporia State from 2009-2011, after transfering from Barton County CC. In his senior season of 2011, David posted a .344 batting average in 53 games, while hitting 12 doubles, 3 home runs, and driving in 41. Along with being a good hitter, David took care of all the duties behind the plate, catching every game except for two, while posting a .983 fielding percentage.

During his span as a Hornet, David collected many awards including All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honors for the DII level. While at Barton County CC, David was voted best catcher for the Jayhawk West All-Conference Team in 2009.

David is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana
