Brandon Bachar will be entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Hornets in the 2022 season. He works with hitters, outfielders, and runs the strength and conditioning program. 
 
The Russell, KS native started his collegiate playing career at Western Nebraska Community College and helped the Cougars win the Empire Conference championship in 2017. Bachar transferred to Emporia State University and played shortstop for the 2018 regional team. 
 
This past summer, Bachar was the head coach of the Junction City Brigade. The Brigade won the 2021 Cowdin Cup and Bachar was awarded MPL Manager of the Year.
