2021 (WSU): As a senior, Bechtel was fourth overall in appearances for the Shockers with 17 total… Sported a 3.47 ERA, allowing only 6 walks and 24 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings of work.
 
2020 (WSU): In the shortened covid season, Bechtel made four appearances out of the bullpen for the Shockers...Went 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA, allowing four walks and nine strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings of work.
 
2019 (Coffeyville): As a sophomore, Bechtel made 14 appearances, 12 of those starting… Went 7-4 with a 4.50 ERA, a school record of 89 strikeouts in 68 innings of work. Bechtel was also an All-KJCAA Honorable Mention pitcher.
 
2018 (Coffeyville): As a freshman, Bechtel made all 12 appearances as a starter… Went 3-7 with a 6.71 ERA, and 59 strikeouts
