Chi alpha Sigma Honor Society
The mission and objectives of Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society is to encourage and reward high academic scholarship of college athletes; to recognize outstanding academic achievement; to encourage good citizenship, moral character, and friendship; to recognize and honor the individual athlete, his/her team, sport, athletic department, and college or university; and to mentor and provide leadership to other athletes.
Spring 2019 Chi Alpha Sigma Induction
A select group of student-athletes at ESU were honored on May 1st with an induction into Chi Alpha Sigma. Chi Alpha Sigma is a nationally recognized honor society for student-athletes who have shown excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Inductees are:
Yuchen Du, Volleyball Seth Surface, Football
Caitlin Hawk, Track and Field Jessica Wayne, Basketball
Kennedy Hoffman, Soccer Lukas Winkler, Tennis
To be a member of the Kansas Gamma Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, you must have the following:
? 3.4 Cumulative GPA
? Junior
? Attended ESU for 2 years
? Recommendation from your coach
If you meet these criteria above, you will get contacted about joining the Honor Society in January of your Junior or Senior year.
