In HS
Bachtel is a graduate of Lansing HS where she was a varsity cross country athlete for all four years, a two time state qualifier in cross country, and she was apart of the team that won the KVL League Championships. Bachtel was on the honor roll all four years.

At ESU
2020: Bachtel will come into ESU where she will continue to develop as a distance runner. Her Freshman season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2021:  Bachtel did not compete due to injury.

Born May 21, 2002...daughter of Christine and Jeff Bachtel...has three siblings, Taylor, Ryan, and Peyton...majoring in Health & Human Performance with a minor in Coaching.
