In HS
Morgan is a graduate of Tonganoxie HS where he was a National Honor Society member and Academic All-State in cross country. Morgan was 11th in class 4A 3200m, a Frontier League champion at 3200m and cross country and 14th in class 4A State Cross Country.

At ESU
2019: Morgan will begin his collegiate career with the Hornets where he will look to improve upon his marks from high school. He will focus on getting the necessary experience for a collegiate athlete and finding his identity as a distance runner. Morgan began his collegiate career with a 6k time of 21:37.9 at the J.K. Gold Classic.  At the MIAA Conference Championships, Morgan placed 78th overall.
2020: Morgan's season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2021:  Morgan placed 62nd at the MIAA Conference Championships, and ran a time of 26:47 at the MOSO Stampede.
