Biography

2021: Hammes was named honorable mention All-MIAA at linebacer.  He ranked fifth in the MIAA in total tackles

2020: Season canceled due to COVID

2019: Hammes earned honorable mention All-MIAA accolades

2018: He played in 11 games as a red-shirt freshman.

High School: All-State and Top 33 selection in the state of Kansas…first team All-Mid-East League…172 tackles, eight tackles for loss with six sacks and three pass deflections…also rushed for 589 yards and 14 touchdowns…three-time state champion for Rossville HS and will be a Kansas Shrine bowl participant…father Derick Hammes played for the Hornets.
