Biography
In HS
Graduate of St. Mary's, Hurla placed fourth twice in the 400, 6th in the 200, 6th in the 4x400 at the 2A State meet. 6th in the 200m, and 6th twice in the 4x400 at the 3A State meet. A Mid-East League champion in the 4x400, 4x100, 100 and 200 as well as 3A regional champion in the 4x400.
At ESU
2018-19: A Freshman for the Hornets, Hurla ran her SB of 12.66 in the 100 meters at the Friends Spring Open. She finished the season with a PR of 26.35 in the 200 meters at the 2019 MIAA Outdoor Championships.
2019-20: Hurla returns to the lady hornets as a Sophomore and will help lead this talented group of sprinters. Hurla ran a lifetime best in the 400 meters at the MIAA Indoor Championships by clocking a time of 58.57. She was also on the 4x400 meter relay and distance medley relay which placed 7th and 8th respectively, earning her all-conference. Hurla's outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: Hurla returns as one of the veterans for the lady Hornets and will continue to be a hard worker on and off the track. Hurla's best time in the 400 meters came at the ESU Spring Invitational where she ran 59.92. She ended her season at the MIAA Outdoor Championships where she helped the 4x400 meter relay team run the best time of the season with a 3:57.19.

Born March 27, 2000...daughter of Rick and Janell Hurla...has two siblings, Reece and Jacie...majoring in Health & Human Performance.
