Wedge is a graduate of Maize South where he was All-League First Team, All-Region Second Team, top 25 at the 2020 5A State Championship, and a 3x Cross Country letterman.

At ESU
2020-21: Wedge enters his first year with the Hornets where he continues to develop as a distance runner. Wedge's best mark in the 800 meters came at the Wichita State Open where he ran 2:00.02. His best mark for 1500 meters came at the Midwest Classic where he ran 4:09.79.
