In HS
Brown is a graduate from Shawnee Mission East HS where he was a 4 year letter winner in both track and cross country. He also placed 7th in the 1600 and 4th in the 4x800 at the 6A State Championships.

At ESU
2019-20: His first year as a collegiate athlete, Brown adds to the depth of the Hornets and will look to improve himself as a distance runner. Brown began his collegiate track & field career at the WSU Shocker Prelude with a 4:41.15 mile. Brown would later run a PR in the mile at the MIAA Indoor Championships with a time of 4:26.60. 
2020-21: Brown focused on the mile during the Indoor season where he ran his season best of 4:29.93 at the Bearcat Invitational. He continued into the outdoor season by setting lifetime bests in the 1500 and 800 meters at the Wichita State Open where he ran 4:13.02 and 2:05.20 respectively. He continued that streak into the Midwest Classic where he set a lifetime best in the 5000 meters by running 15:58.50.
