August 29, 2026 - Three Hornets were named to the All-Tournament Team after the conclusion of the Ferris State Invitational, as Brailee Bogle, Lavra Krizanic and Brooklynn Weaver all received recognition as Emporia State went 3-1.

Brailee Bogle tallied 72 assists across the Hornets' four matches, which included 26 in the opening match of the tournament, a 3-1 win over (RV) Minnesota State. Bogle also added 16 digs and five service aces.

Lavra Krizanic led the Hornets in attack, posting 41 kills on .258 hitting, as she averaged 3.73 kills per set. In addition to her strong showing in attack, Krizanic also tallied 39 digs and six blocks. She tallied 17 kills on .314 hitting in the four-set win over Minnesota State, and ended the trip with nine kills on .389 hitting in a sweep over Purdue Northwest.

Brooklynn Weaver had 19 kills and just one error in Emporia State's four matches, as she hit .486. Weaver converted eight of 13 attacks against Illinois-Springfield and six of ten attacks against Purdue Northwest to close out the tournament. She also had six total blocks in the opening win against Minnesota State and ended with 11 blocks in the Hornets' four matches.

Emporia State went 3-1 at the Ferris State Invitational and will return to action on Thursday, September 3 at the Sioux Falls Tournament.
