April 25, 2026-The Emporia State women ended their season with a 7-0 victory on the road at Ark.-Fort Smith on Saturday afternoon.

DOUBLES
Giovanna Ferreira and
Carla Paul Piquer won their fourth straight match with 6-4 decision at #1 doubles while
Sheriden Wichman and
Yuliya Klimova picked up a 6-3 win at #2 to give the Hornets a 1-0 lead.
SINGLES
The Lions were playing with just five players so the Hornets started singles play leading 2-0. Emporia State did not drop a set in the five matches played. Ferreira won 6-2, 6-1 at #1 singles, Paul Piquer picked up a 6-1, 6-4 win at #2, Klimova was victorious 6-4, 6-2 at the #3 slot,
Sheriden Wichman picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win in her final match as a Hornet at #4 singles, and
Giulia Russu had a 6-4, 6-2 win at #5 singles.
