April 14, 2026-Due to the threat of weather detrimental to the playing of tennis, the Emporia State men's and women's tennis matches against Northwest Missouri scheduled for Friday, April 17 has been postponed until Sunday, April 19 at the Kossover Family Tennis Center on the Emporia State campus.

The women will begin play at 10:00 a.m. and the men will follow approximately one hour after the conclusion of the women's final match.

As of Tuesday afternoon the Emporia State women's match against Missouri Western is still scheduled for Saturday, April 18 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Kossover Center. The ESU Relays collegiate track and field meet has been moved to a one day meet starting at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday with the high school edition moved to a single day on Friday at Welch Stadium and Witten Track. Softball is still set to take on Northwest Missouri in a double header starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Trusler Sports Complex and baseball will wrap up the day against Central Missouri starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday there is a softball double header against Missouri Western scheduled for noon and game two of the baseball series against Central Missouri is set for 2:00 p.m.  The Hornet baseball team will wrap up the weekend on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the final game of the series with the Mules.
