March 5, 2026 - Due to forecasted weather on Friday, the series opener between Emporia State and Pittsburg State has been moved up.

The Hornets and Gorillas will now open their weekend series at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6 from the Trusler Sports Complex. Game two is still scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with the final slated for a 1:00 p.m. start on Sunday.

Emporia State is 13-3 to begin the season and 4-2 in the MIAA as they are set to host #3 Pittsburg State this weekend. The Gorillas enter with a 17-0 record and 7-0 mark in the MIAA.
