November 28, 2025-Emporia State was held to 27.4% shooting and gave up 27 points off turnovers in a 69-48 loss at #19 Oklahoma Baptist on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Emporia State scored the first five points of the game while holding Oklahoma Baptist scoreless for the first 3:52 of the game. The Bison used a 12-2 run to take a 12-7 lead with 11:43 left in the half and then used an 8-0 to go up 20-10 with 9:59 left in the half. A
Mason Wujek jumper pulled the Hornets to within 26-23 with 5:36 remaining before OBU closed the half on a 13-2 run to lead 39-25 at the break.
Trey Redd scored inside 1:17 into the second half to pull ESU within 39-27 but the Hornets would not score their next field goal until Wujek scored on a layup with 10:00 left to make it 55-30. Oklahoma Baptist would lead by as many as 29 before settling in for the 69-48 victory.

Justin Mack paced Emporia State with 12 points each but no one else scored over five points.Â
Mason Wujek had a team high eight rebounds. As a team Emporia State shot 17 of 62 for the game and just six of 28 in the second half.
