November 16, 2025-The Emporia State disc golf teams swept all six titles at the Mid-American Regional Disc Golf Championship presented by Dynamic Discs.

WHO WON WHAT
Playing a player down the trio of
Carter Ahrens,
TJ Reel and Micah Trato birdied 15 of 18 holes on Sunday to move from third to first in the tournament. The #2 ranked Hornets would end at -29 for the tournament to finish two strokes in front of Liberty.
The women's competition was all Emporia State at the top of board.Â
Madeline Joiner and
Isabella Parker had a two stroke lead over
Atlanta Krueger and
Maya Ringgold headed into Sunday's final round. That would be the final spread after Sunday's round as well with both teams shooting two under in the final round. Joiner and Parker would finish the weekend at two under while Krueger and Ringgold finished at even par. The duo of Josalyn Wipf and Lily Corkill from #11 Hesston placed third at +21 for the tournament.

Isaiah Esquivel had a seven stroke lead going into Sunday's final round and would finish with a seven point victory. Emporia State and Wichita State would both shoot seven under on Sunday as the Hornets finished -24 for the tournament while the Shockers were -17 on the two days.

Micah Tatro won the men's D1 individual title while defending national championÂ
Atlanta Krueger won the women's championship. Â
Grant Yoder rounded out the singles wins with a title in D2 men's competition.

WHAT'S NEXT
This was the final fall team competition for the Hornets. They will return to action in the spring as they prepare for the College Disc Golf Championships April 8-11 in Rock Hill, S.C.
