October 17, 2025-Emporia State got out to a 2-0 lead but could not hold on as Rogers State scored tow goals in the final25 minutes of a 2-2 tie on Friday afternoon at the ESU Pitch.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first half Emporia State got on the board in the 49
th minute when Ella FAvot set up
Megan Kephart for a shot from 25 yards out that hit the cross bar and dropped into the goal. Just 14 minutes later Favot sent a cross from the right side of the goal over to Kephart who put a shot past the keeper back into the right side of the goal to give the Hornets a 2-0 lead.
Two and a half minutes later Delana King got the Hillcats on the board when she scored off a rebound in front of the goal.  Taylor Colmo got the equalizer for Rogers State in the 84
th minute when she scored off a scrum in front of the goal. Neither team would get a shot off the rest of the game.
