SENIOR NIGHT SENDOFF
Emporia State will host Pittsburg State for Senior Night before taking on Central Oklahoma in the final home regular season match.

LAST TIME OUT
The Hornets pushed both Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri to four sets in a pair of road matchups.

THE COACHES
Ken Murczek is 11-13 in his first season at ESU. Murczek is coming off great success at NAIA Oregon Tech where he brought the Owls to their first National Tournament in school history. Murczek is no stranger to the big stage, as he has coached at the NCAA Division I level, with head coaching tenures at Wake Forest and North Texas, along with an assistant coaching position at the University of Kansas.
Jen Gomez is 91-131 in her eighth season at PSU. She is 7-6 against the Hornets.
Edgar Miraku is 265-89 in his 13th season at UCO. He is 20-3 against the Hornets.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State is 11-13 this season and 5-11 in the MIAA. As a team, Emporia State ranks seventh in the MIAA in hitting percentage. and seventh in total kills and blocks this season. The Hornet attack is led by Sandora Sasaki who has 416 kills with 4.78 kills per set. Sasaki is coming off her fourth MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week honor and leads the MIAA in both categories. McKenya Sorrells also has nearly two kills per set with 152 total kills and 1.90 per set. Brailee Bogle has made a strong impact in her first season with the Hornets as she has 803 assists with 9.23 assists per set which ranks fifth in the MIAA.

SCOUTING PITTSBURG STATE
The Gorillas are 9-16 this season and 4-12 in the MIAA and are one game back of the Hornets in the MIAA standings. The attack is led by Janae Thurston with 268 kills and 2.98 kills per set.

LAST TIME VS. THE GORILLAS
The Hornets took down the Gorillas in three sets on the road earlier this season as Sandora Sasaki tallied a match-high 18 kills.

SERIES HISTORY
Emporia State leads the all-time series 74-31 against Pittsburg State.

SCOUTING CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
The Bronchos are 22-4 on the season and 13-3 in the MIAA as the Bronchos are currently third in the MIAA and ranked #17 in the nation. Four players have over 200 kills for the Bronchos with Addison Wimmer leading the way with 288 kills and a 3.16 kills per set average.

Central Oklahoma leads the all-time series 21-11 against Emporia State.

LAST TIME VS. THE BRONCHOS
Emporia State traveled to the Sooner State and pushed the top-25 Bronchos to five sets. Sandora Sasaki recorded a match-high 23 kills while Tasiah Nunnery and McKenya Sorrells both recorded double-digit kills.
