January 26, 2023-Don't miss any of the action as the 20th anniversary of MIAA Madness takes place this March at historic Municipal Auditorium downtown Kansas City, Mo. All-Session passes are on sale now for the MIAA Basketball Championship Tournament presented by Southern Bank to be held March 1-5.
An All-Session Pass will get fans access to all nine sessions of the championships and are available for just $50 when purchased through Emporia State Athletics. If purchased through the MIAA the price of an All-Session pass goes up to $75 while purchasing tickets on a session by session basis would cost $180 to see all nine sessions of the tournament.
Fans purchasing an All-Session pass in advance through Emporia State would save $25 compared to purchasing through the MIAA or at the door in Kansas City. The savings increase to $130 compared to purchasing a ticket to each session independently.
Fans can purchase their tickets to the 2023 MIAA Championship Tournament by going to esuhornets.com/tickets or at White Auditorium during one of Emporia State's four remaining home dates. No tickets will be mailed. You must pick up your hard tickets at the ticket booth in White Auditorium during all home basketball games, from the ESU Athletic Department, or at Will Call at Municipal Auditorium during the tournament.
Since the tournament moved to Kansas City in 2003 Emporia State has had at least one team advance to Semifinal Saturday 17 times. Including first round games played there, Emporia State has had a team playing in at least three sessions in 18 of the previous 20 seasons at Municipal Auditorium.
Single session passes are available for $20 for adults and $10 for students age seven through college with valid ID.
Municipal Auditorium has a rich history in College Basketball and has served as the home of the MIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Championships since 2003. The arena has hosted over 80 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament games, including nine Final Fours, which is the most Final Fours at any one venue in NCAA basketball history. It has also played host to the Big 12 Tournaments for men and women as well as the NAIA National Tournament. Current Emporia State men's basketball coach

Toby Wynn led the Lady Hornets to the 2020 MIAA Tournament Championship game in front of 6,455 fans.
