Box Score 2 March 13, 2022-Emporia State tennis started spring break with a pair of losses at Southeastern Oklahoma on Sunday in Durant, Okla. The women lost 5-2 while the men fell 7-0.
Andrea Santiago won in split sets 6-0, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at #5 singles while
Viktoria Mackova won 6-2, 6-3 at #6 singles for the two women's wins.
Harrison Brown and
Luiz Maia had the only victory for the men, winning 6-3 at #2 doubles but it was not enough to register a point in the team standings.
Both Hornet teams will continue south on Monday when they take on Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m. for both teams.
