Fresh off of two wins Emporia State will travel to Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri this weekend.
LAST TIME OUT
Emporia State came from behind to defeat Fort Hays State in five sets and win their second straight MIAA match.
Megan Stretton led the way for the Hornets with 17 kills and a .269 hitting percentage. Three other Emporia State players reached double-digit kills on the evening.
Ainslee Stepp took over for an injured
Riley Bernskoetter and dished 32 assists in the final three sets.
Rylie Fornelli led the way on defense for the Hornets with 35 digs.
THE COACHES
Bing Xu is in his 16th year as head coach for Emporia State. He holds a record of 292-202 and has led the Hornets to five NCAA Tournament appearances. He is 17-9 against Missouri Western and 17-8 against Northwest Missouri.
