Box Score March 9, 2018- Emporia State men's tennis defeated Arkansas Fort Smith 8-1 on Friday.

The Hornet men's tennis team had a strong day at the EHS Courts winning over non-conference opponent Arkansas Fort Smith 8-1. Oliver Dixon and Anton Levanovich won 9-8 over Daniel Borrero and Wian Van Dyk in #1 doubles. Patrick Cameron and Matheus Mota defeated Luke Anderson and Brady Kenyon 8-4 in double #2 and Janne Jacobi and Taylor Nelson defeated Zach Delmonso and Andrew Anderson 8-0 in doubles #3.

In #1 singles Oliver Dixon defeated Daniel Borrero 6-3, 7-5 while Charles Gortzounian defeated Wian Van Dyk 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 in #2 singles. Mota defeated Brady Kenyon 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 in #3 singles, Cameron defeated Luke Anderson 7-5, 6-2 in #4 singles, Levanovich was defeated 6-4, 7-5, 12-10 in singles #5 and Nelson defeated Andrew Anderson 6-0, 6-3 in singles #6 to give the Hornets the 8-1 win.

The Hornets next scheduled matchup is March 17 as the Hornets travel to Kearney Nebraska to take on the Lopers.
