LAST TIME OUT
On Friday, Emporia State fell 3-2 to Pittsburg State. The Hornets were led by Yuchen Du with a double-double of 15 kills and 19 assists. Tatum Graves also had 15 kills while Emma Dixon had a team high 24 assists. Allie Maloney led the Hornets with 24 digs, followed by Jordan Evans with 18 and Taylor Otting with 15.
On Saturday, Emporia State fell 3-0 to #18 ranked Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Ok. The Hornets were led by Tatum Graves with six kills while Valerie Golder and Julia Joseph each added five. Emma Dixon had a team high 13 assists and Allie Maloney led all players with 22 digs.

Emporia State is 7-12 this season, 2-5 in the MIAA. Senior Tatum Graves leads the Hornets with 74 blocks including 12 solo and 62 assists. Graves also leads with 217 kills while Yuchen Du joins her in triple digit kills for the Hornets with 166 followed by Taylor Otting with 144 and Jamie Hauptman with 111. Emma Dixon leads the Hornets with 432 assists followed by Du with 235. Allie Maloney leads the Hornets with 345 digs while Taylor Otting adds 234.

Emporia State senior middle hitter, Tatum Graves is first in the MIAA with 74 blocks, fifth with 217 kills, seventh in k/set with 2.96 and tenth in hitting percentage with .321. Libero, Allie Maloney is fifth in the MIAA with 347 digs.
ABOUT NEWMAN
The Jets are 1-15 on the season, 0-2 in the Heartland conference. The Jets have allowed opponents a hitting percentage of .248 while having only a .081 percentage. Yemima Buana leads the Jets with 91 kills on a .208 hitting percentage. Trinity Conley adds 76 kills while Hailey Braddy adds 71 for the Jets. Emporia State volleyball defeated the Jets 3-1 in Wichita, Kan. For the match Graves had 15 kills on .483 hitting with five blocks to pace the Hornets. Du added 14 kills with 25 assists and seven digs. Simons had ten kills on .391 hitting to join them in double figures. Allie Maloney had a team high 16 digs and added eight assists while Emma Dixon had 20 assists and 12 digs.
