EMPORIA STATE MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS GET WINS OVER TRUMAN

March 4, 2017-The Emporia State men's and women's tennis teams each picked up wins against Truman on Saturday afternoon.

The Hornet men's #1 doubles team of Patrick Cameron and Matheus Mota picked up a 9-8 win with a 7-4 win in the tiebreak to give Emporia State a 3-0 lead after doubles.  The Hornets then swept all six singles matches led by a 6-0, 6-0 victory by Gerard Pont at #1 singles.

The Emporia State women had a 2-1 lead after doubles thanks to wins at #1 by Tawni Griffey and Camila Ramos and at #3 by Amy Fugit and Lori Ahuja.  The Hornets then swept the single competition for the win.
