March 21,2017-Playing their third match in three days in three different cities, the Emporia State men's and women's tennis teams each fell to Harding in Springfield, Mo. on Tuesday afternoon. The Hornet women fell 8-1 while the men just played to a clinch and lost 5-1 to the Bisons.
The #2 doubles teams picked up both wins for Emporia State. The men's team of Gerard Pont and Oliver Dixon won 8-3 while Sarah Durham and Kaley Clark picked up an 8-5 win for the women.
The Hornets will play their fourth match in four days on Wednesday when they travel to St. Charles, Mo. to take on Lindenwood in a pair of MIAA duals. First serve is set for 12 noon.
