March 18, 2017-The Emporia State men's and women's tennis teams both defeated Ark.-Fort Smith on Saturday afternoon in neutral site matches in Joplin, Mo. The Hornet men won 8-1 and the women took a 6-3 victory.
The Hornet men won their eighth straight dual to open the season while the women improved to 4-1 on the season. Emporia State will stay on the road for MIAA action against Southwest Baptist on Monday in Bolivar, Mo.
