HOME STAND
Emporia State will host Central Oklahoma on Friday, October 6 and Pittsburg State on Saturday October 7 to begin a four game home stand at White Auditorium.

LAST TIME OUT
Emporia State won 3-1 over Newman (20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-20). The Hornets were led by Tatum Graves with 15 kills followed by Yuchen Du with 14 and Mikayla Simons with 10. Du led the Hornets with 25 assists while Emma Dixon added 20. Allie Maloney led the Hornets with 16 digs followed by Dixon with 12.

THE COACHES
Bing Xu is 262-142 in his 13th year as head coach for Emporia State. He has led the Hornets to five NCAA Tournaments. He is 7-10 against Central Oklahoma and 17-9 against Pittsburg State.
Edgar Miraku is 144-43 in his sixth year as head coach for Central Oklahoma.
Jen Gomez is 9-38 in her second year as head coach for Pittsburg State.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State is 10-8 on the season, 2-3 in the MIAA. Yuchen Du, who has recorded a nations leading five triple doubles this year, leads the Hornets with 223 kills, followed by Jamie Hauptman and Tatum Graves with 153 each. Emma Dixon leads the Hornets in assists with 374 while Du adds 344. Allie Maloney is leading Emporia State with 268 digs followed by Emma Dixon with 157 and Julia Joseph with 153. Graves leads the Hornets with 67 total blocks (15 solo, 52 assists) followed by Du with 45, Valerie Golder with 31 and Mikayla Simons with 30.

ABOUT #8 CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
Central Oklahoma is 18-1 on the season, 5-0 in the MIAA. The Bronchos are led by Taylor Bevis with 235 kills followed by Jordan Spence with 135 and Allie Davis with 108. McKenzie Fyfe leads the Bronchos with 554 assists. Dominique Lipari leads the Bronchos with 255 digs followed by Fyfe with 173. This will be the 22nd meeting between the Hornets and the Bronchos. Central Oklahoma leads the all time series 11-10.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE BRONCHOS
Emporia State fell in straight sets to the #9 Bronchos (20-25, 21-25, 13-25). Shayla Cotman led Emporia State with six kills and five blocks. Josie Williams, Julia Joseph and Danika Burton each had five kills. Allie Maloney led the Hornets with 23 digs. Emma Dixon led with 15 assists while Kimberly Bell had 13 assists.

ABOUT PITTSBURG STATE
Pittsburg State is 3-14 on the season, 0-5 in the MIAA. The Gorillas are led by Lauren Reigar with 186 kills, Carolina VanBuskirk with 353 assists and Lauren Maisberger with 221 digs on the season. This will be the 100th meeting between Pitt State and Emporia State. The Hornets lead the all time series 70-24.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE GORILLAS
The Hornets beat the Gorillas 3-1 (25-15, 25-16, 19-25, 25-16). Josie Williams led the Hornets with 12 kills. Emma Dixon recorded a double double with 16 assists and 11 digs. Allie Maloney led all players with 24 digs.
