HOME STAND
Emporia State will host Missouri Southern on Friday, October 13 and Southwest Baptist on Saturday October 14 to finish a four game home stand at White Auditorium.

LAST TIME OUT
Emporia State won 3-0 over Pittsburg State (25-20, 25-22, 25-13). The Hornets were led by Yuchen Du with 14 kills on .458 hitting percentage followed by Jamie Hauptman with 7 and Karly Patton with 6. Emma Dixon led all players with 19 assists while Du followed with 16. Allie Maloney led all players with 9 digs on the match followed by Dixon with 8 and Du with 7.

THE COACHES
Bing Xu is 263-142 in his 13th year as head coach for Emporia State. He has led the Hornets to five NCAA Tournaments. He is 17-2 against Missouri Southern and 18-0 against Southwest Baptist.
Jon Napier is 25-85 in his fourth year as head coach for Missouri Southern.
Caira Dortch is 17-62 in her third year as head coach for Southwest Baptist.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State is 11-9 on the season, 3-4 in the MIAA. Yuchen Du, who is third in the nation with five triple doubles this year, leads the Hornets with 244 kills, followed by Tatum Graves with 171 and Jamie Hauptman with 163. Emma Dixon leads the Hornets in assists with 415 while Du adds 374. Allie Maloney is leading Emporia State with 291 digs followed by Emma Dixon with 173 and Julia Joseph with 162. Graves leads the Hornets with 72 total blocks (15 solo, 57 assists) followed by Du with 47, Valerie Golder with 36 and Mikayla Simons with 31.

ABOUT MISSOURI SOUTHERN
Missourii Southern is 9-11 on the season, 2-5 in the MIAA. The Lions are led by Jamelle Brehm 238 followed by Alicia Pickett with 173 and Bailey Rexford with 151. Morgan Nash leads the Lions with 686 assists.The Lions are led by Teryn Scott with 240 digs followed by Morgan Nash with 198. This will be the 78th meeting between Emporia State and Missouri Southern. The Hornets lead the series 47-30 over the Lions. 

LAST TIME AGAINST THE LIONS
Emporia State won in straight sets over the Lions (20-25, 21-25, 13-25). The Hornets had five players with seven or more kills, Josie Williams leading with a match high 11 kills. Danika Burton and Julia Joseph joined with eight kills each. Jamie Hauptman and Shayla Cotman added another seven kills a piece. Kimberly Bell had 19 assists joined by Emma Dixon with 18 assists. Allie Maloney had a season high, and match high 27 digs 

ABOUT SOUTHWEST BAPTIST
Southwest Baptist is 2-18 on the season, 1-6 in the MIAA. The Bearcats are led by Dana Neal with 147 kills, Brea Freeman with 424 assists and Bailey Baumann with 267 digs. This will be the 51st meeting between Southwest Baptist and Emporia State. The Hornets lead the all time series 49-1.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE BEARCATS
The Hornets beat the Bearcats 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-13). Yuchen Du led the Hornets with 15 kills, four block assists and 14 assists. Allie Maloney led the Hornets with 13 digs.
