April 8, 2016-The Emporia State women made quick work of Ft. Hays State to snap a four dual losing streak and improve to 10-8 on the season.
The Hornets only dropped three games in the doubles competition as they took a 3-0 lead into singles. Amy Fugit got a 6-0, 6-1 win at #3 singles and Lori Ahuja won 6-1, 6-2 at #4 to clinch the dual for Emporia State.
It was the first time in three duals that Emporia State had a full complement of players.
The Hornets are back in action on Saturday when both the men and women take on Neb.-Kearney at the EHS Courts.
