April 19, 2016-The Emporia State men fell 7-2 at Newman in their final non-conference dual of the season on Tuesday in Wichita.
Matheus Mota and Keenan Smith picked up an 8-6 win at #2 doubles while Farhan Sadique won a point with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) win at #5 singles.
The Hornets will wrap up the season on Saturday, April 23 against Southwest Baptist. First serve on the Milton Courts is set for 2:00 p.m. It will be the final home match for seniors Collin Connor and Keenan Smith.
NOTES
The Emporia State women's dual with Rockhurst scheduled for Wednesday, April 20 has been cancelled due to the weather forecast and will not be made up. Like the men thier final match will be on Saturday against Southwest Baptist. The final home match for senior Kayla Fraley is also scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. on the Milton Courts.
