April 16, 2016-The Emporia State women dropped an 8-1 dual to #16 Northeastern State on Saturday at the Milton Courts as the RiverHawks secured their third straight MIAA regular season title.
The Hornets trailed 3-0 after doubles and fell behind 8-0 before Sarah Durham ended the dual with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at #6 singles to remain undefeated in MIAA play this year.
The Emporia State women will hit the road for a dual with Rockhurst on Wednesday, April 20 in Kansas City before wrapping up the regular season on Saturday, April 23 against Southwest Baptist on the Milton Courts.
