April 15, 2016-Emporia State dropped below .500 for the first time this year with a 7-2 loss to Central Oklahoma on Friday at the Milton Courts.
DOUBLES
Tawni Griffey and Kaley Clark got things started for the Hornets with an 8-3 win at #1 doubles. The other two doubles matches took a bit longer to complete as Lori Ahuja and Amy Fugit fell 9-7 at #2 while Kristen Fraley and Sarah Durham went to a tiebreaker at #3 before falling 9-8 (7-4)
SINGLES
Sarah Durham continued her undefeated streak in MIAA play, getting a 6-4, 6-2 win at #6 singles, but that would be the only win in singles play for the Hornets.

The Emporia State women take on Northeastern State on Saturday afternoon at the Milton Courts. First serve is now set for 1:00 p.m.
