April 13, 2016-The Emporia State men fell 7-2 at Rockhurst on Wednesday afternoon in Kansas City, Mo.
Keenan Smith had a hand in both wins for the Hornets.  He teamed up with Matheus Mota to win 8-6 at #2 doubles and then won 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) at #4 singles.
The Hornets will not play again until Tuesday, April 19 when they travel to Wichita to take on Newman. The Emporia State women will be at home this weekend for a pair of MIAA matches on the Milton Courts. They play Central Oklahoma on Friday and Northeastern State on Saturday with the first serve of both matches set for 2:00 p.m.
