EMPORIA STATE WOMEN'S TENNIS TEAM FALLS IN MIAA TOURNAMENT TO NEBRASKA KEARNEY

April 24, 2015- Emporia State Women's Tennis lost to Nebraska Kearney 5-2 in MIAA Tournament. 

Emporia State lost all three doubles matches on the day. Tawni Griffey and Cami Ramos lost to Emily Fink and Sthefani Rodriquez 8-4. The duo of Kaley Clark and Amy Fugit lost to Paula Jimenez and Kristin Weems 8-2. Tiffany Khounsombath and Taylor Smith were defeated by Kari Emery and Emma Neil 8-4. 

Emporia State got their two wins from Griffey and Smith in singles play. Griffey defeated Weems 6-0, 6-1 and Smith defeated Jimenez 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
