April 12, 2015- Emporia State lost to Northeastern State 8-1 on Sunday. 

Tiffany Khounsombath recorded the lone Hornet victory on the day defeating Easton Parker 7-6 (6), 7-5. The Hornet's went 1-5 in singles action as a team.

The RiverHawks were victorious in all three doubles matches against the Hornets. Tawni Griffey and Cami Ramos were defeated by Kristina Savchenkov and Patricia Husakova 8-5. The duo of Taylor Smith and Khounsombath lost to Barbora Jirickova and Parker by a score of 9-7.

The Hornets are back in action Wednesday, April 15 when they face Washburn at home at The Milton Courts at 2 pm.
