EMPORIA STATE WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO AUGUSTANA

April 6, 2014-Playing their second top 30 opponent in as many days, the Emporia State women fell 8-1 to Augustana on Sunday at the Milton Tennis Courts.

The Hornets trailed 2-1 after doubles thanks to a 9-8 win at #2 by Tawni Griffey and Tiffany Khounsombath playing in their first action together.  Augie then took all six singles matches for the 8-1 win.

Emporia State is back in action on Wednesday, April 9 when the men and women both play host to Rockhurst.  First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. at the EHS Courts.
