Women's box score in htmlMen's box score in htmlApril 5th, 2014- Emporia State tennis lost 8-1 in both men's and women's action to nationally ranked Southwest Baptist on Saturday at the Milton Courts.
The #3 doubles team of Amy Fugit and Somer Schmidt picked up an 8-5 win for the lone Hornet win on the women's side. Payton Hays won 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at #6 singles to get the only win for the Emporia State men.
The Emporia State women are back in action on Sunday morning when they take on their second straight nationally ranked opponent. They will play host to #30 Augustana (SD) at 10 a.m. on the Milton Courts.
