March 14, 2014-The Emporia State women defeated Lindenwood 7-2 while the men fell to the Lions 7-2 on Friday in St. Charles, Mo.

The ladies had a 2-1 lead after victories at #1 and #2 doubles.  The Hornets wrapped it up with wins at five of the six singles positions.

The Hornet men picked up a win at #2 doubles but went into the single down 2-1.  The only win in singles came from Payton Hays at #6 singles.

Emporia State is back in action on Saturday with the women playing Maryville while the men take on Fontbonne.
